2020 Nebraska Master Naturalist Executive Board Nominations

2020 NMN Executive Board Nominations

If you have any questions or wish to obtain more information, please contact Matt Jones naturalist@unl.edu or (402) 937-8601.

The nomination period for the executive board is now open!  We are in need of 3 individuals, two to serve as Master Naturalist Representatives and one as a Partner Representative.  The term limit is 2 years.  The executive board's bylaws do allow current board members, whose terms are ending, to run for re-election. Our meetings are usually on Thursdays, 4 hours in length and 4 times a year, meeting locations vary.  In 2020, we have scheduled meetings for Jan. 9th, April 9th, July 9th and October 8th.  Please check with your nominee first, and yes, you may nominate yourself.  The nomination period will close  November 25th.  Nebraska Master Naturalists will vote for a nominee for each of the three board seats, short bios will be requested from the chosen candidates, voting will be completed and we will announce the newly elected board members no later than December 20th.

Look forward to hearing from you,

Tisha Johnson
