Focus on Forests Workshop at Wildlife Safari Park, Ashland INPERSON
Back by popular demand! Join us for a joint professional development session with Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and The Nebraska Forest Service. Jack Hilgert of NFS and Jackie Halsey of OHDZA will help you “Fall” in love with engaging students in environmental, conservation and citizen science. Gain access to PLT and Zoo curriculum. Exploring nature can be fun and engaging while also meeting the curriculum standards of the modern classroom. Participants will leave the session ready to "Fall" in love citizen science and explore how you can take your classroom outdoors. This workshop is in person will take place at the Lee G. Simmons Conservation Park and Wildlife Safari located in Ashland, Nebraska.

For classroom teachers, afterschool staff, and other environmental education enthusiasts!
Cost is $30 per person; includes admission to the Wildlife Safari Park.
