 ersity of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) is hosting a workshop to train volunteers
  to find and record sightings of salamanders in Nebraska. The workshop wil
 l be on Saturday\, April 20\, 2019 from 5:00 PM- 9:00 PM at Indian Cave St
 ate Park (Shubert\, NE). A potluck dinner will begin at 5:00 PM\, with sub
  sandwiches\, drinks\, and tableware provided. Participants are encouraged
  bring a side dish or dessert to share. A presentation from Dennis Ferraro
 \, UNL Herpetologist\, will start at 5:30 PM. This presentation will detai
 l how to find\, identify\, and record salamander sightings and contribute 
 that information to the ongoing citizen science project Salamander Search-
  part of the Nebraska Amphibian Monitoring Project. At sunset\, workshop p
 articipants will join Ferraro and Nebraska Game and Parks staff to survey 
 for salamanders throughout the park (weather dependent). \nThis program is
  free and open to the public\, but all vehicles entering the park must hav
