 Denton Prairie was planted to a high diversity\, local ecotype tall grass 
 prairie mix in 2014\, the mix did not include the prairie violet. Our part
 ners at Prairie Plains Resource Institute have painstakingly collected see
 d by hand from remnant prairies in Nebraska and have offered to help us pl
 ant 500 seedlings. \n\nNo experience is necessary--Prairie Plains Greenhou
 se Manager and Educator Sarah Bailey will instruct you how to plant. \n\nP
 lease join us on Sept. 17 to help us create a little 'fritillary nursery' 
 for our butterflies along the Prairie Corridor. The Denton Prairie is loca
 ted at 9605 W. 3rd Street in Denton. Public parking is available one block
  north at the Denton Community Center. Dress for the weather. Sturdy shoes
  and gloves are recommended. RAIN DATE: 10 a.m.\, Sept. 20. \n\n \n\n\n\n
