X-WR-CALDESC:We will be hosting an online Zoom workshop April 1st from 6:30
 - 8:00 PM. Registration is required using the link below.\nhttps://outdoor
nebraska.zoom.us/.../tJArdOuprz0sE9OiyvP0m...\nDid you know Nebraska is ho
me to two types of salamanders! As cute and squishy (don't squish) as thes
e amphibians are\, more information is needed to learn about where they ar
e found throughout the state. That's where the Nebraska Amphibian Monitori
ng Project comes in!\nThe purpose of this community science project is to
train volunteers how to locate and record information related to salamande
rs in Nebraska. That info is then used by researchers to determine where i
n the state these animals occur as compared to where they have been histor
ically known to occur. Neat!\nThere are new data collection methods this y
ear\, so even if you have attended a workshop in the past\, attendance is
required this year to participate. The workshop will be recorded and sent
out to those registered.\nThis community science program is a partnership
between the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Nebraska Game and Parks Com
 mission.
