  like to thank you.  For what?  For being awesome. Why are you awesome? Fo
 r many reasons more than likely.  But in this case it is because you parti
 cipated in the inaugural 2019 Run Four the Pines or the 2020 Virtual Run F
 our the Pines or because you are a friend of Prairie Pines.  \n\nThe big c
 hange this year\, BESIDES AN IN PERSON REAL LIFE EVENT (air horns\, laser 
 sounds\, sirens\, fog!!!)\, is that the original race directors Mary and E
 ric Noel have moved to California.  Not only are they now experiencing lit
 erally half the current humidity\, they have asked us to continue on with 
 this race.  So here we are.\n\nWe are asking your help in a number of ways
 : 1) sign up for the race itself.  Better yet\, sign up with like 5 friend
 s.  2) if you can’t race help us and volunteer.  3) pass this along either
  by email or social media.  \n\nWHAT THIS RACE IS\n\nA celebration of this
  crazy cool thing we get to do that we call running.\nA rare opportunity t
 o run a cross country style event\nExperience a really cool venue in Prair
 ie Pines\nA Fundraiser to help eventually link Prairie Pines with the Murd
 ock Trail and eventually Spring Creek Prairie in Denton.\nA well marked co
 urse that takes you through the Arboretum and native prairie\n A likely PR
  because no one runs four miles for a race\nKids one mile run (NEW this ye
 ar!)\, or four. We’re not your parents.\nGreat after party with local food
  trucks\, brews\, and live music \nWHAT THIS RACE ISN'T\n\nHyper-competiti
 ve event  where people take themselves too seriously.  Judgy statement?  Y
 ep.  This whole thing is about having fun\, supporting a local cause\, and
  doing a different kind of challenge.
