 \nThe University of Nebraska – Lincoln’s East Campus is a highlight of our
  state with beautiful\, natural areas that exhibit some of the diverse env
 ironments Nebraska boasts. Meandering through the campus is Deadmans Run\,
  a natural part of the local watershed. This area plays host to a number o
 f Nebraska’s native plants and animals and is a shining example of our bea
 utiful campus. However\, The rain and winds have drug in large amounts of 
 trash along the run that may impact local wildlife and plants.\n\nTo comba
 t this buildup of trash on our campus there will be a voluntary trash clea
 nup of east campus. This will take place starting at the area indicated on
  the map. Please park in the designated section or walk in if possible. Th
 is will take place June 8th\, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Supplies for 
 the cleanup will be provided. This will be a volunteer event and is not a 
 requirement. This is a natural area and is not maintained like a typical l
 andscape. If you plan to attend we highly recommend close-toed shoes\, lon
 g pants\, long sleeved shirt\, sunscreen\, and bug spray. \n\nTo ensure th
 ere are enough supplies please fill out the short registration form in the
