X-WR-CALDESC:The Sandhills Prairie Refuge Association will be sponsoring re
 pairs of the turtle  fences along Highway 83 through Valentine National Wi
 ldlife Refuge.  We plan on working on June 11\, 12\, 13\, and 14.  We are 
 looking for people who can work one or more days on the project.  The fenc
 es\, built to reduce road kill on the highway\, are in need of repair due 
 to high water\, ice\, and vehicle collisions.  SPRA has raised funds to pu
 rchase 250 feet of chain link fence to replace damaged sections. SPRS will
  host a cookout with a speaker following work on Saturday June 11.  Volunt
 eers will also get a Blanding's turtle t-shirt.   If you would like to vol
 unteer\, contact us at sandhillpra@gmail.com with the day or days you will
  volunteer and we will send you the meeting place and time and what to bri
