 is webinar\, we’ll hear from Tim Walsh\, director of Adventure Recovery\, 
 on how the natural world can play an important role in mental health. Adve
 nture Recovery is an organization offering an innovative model of outdoor 
 programming that provides a connection to mental health and facilitates tr
 ansformational adventure experiences that teach individuals how to embody 
 self-efficacy\, empowerment\, and confidence. The Adventure Recovery model
  brings us into contact with our most innate tool for healing—nature. We a
 re a part of the natural world. When body\, mind\, and spirit are united i
 n adventure activities\, we experience tremendous healing\, growth\, and i
 nspiration.\n\nPresenter Bio: Tim Walsh is an outdoor educator and recover
 y coach trainer who specializes in guiding people through the external and
  internal wilderness. Over the last 25 years\, he has founded and led nume
 rous programs and institutions in youth development and the addictions rec
 overy and prevention fields. Tim advises and develops experiential educati
 on\, adventure therapy\, and substance misuse awareness programs for priva
 te schools\, youth development programs\, treatment centers\, and national
  conferences. He’s a pioneer in the field of adventure-based counseling an
 d was one of the founding team members of Mountainside Treatment Center an
 d served as Executive Director for Newport Academy.\n\nThis webinar is par
 t of the Conservation Education Lunch & Learn Series. Education is an esse
 ntial part of conservation. Understanding how people learn and what motiva
 tes conservation-based behavior changes are complex subjects that span acr
 oss many scientific disciplines. This free virtual series dives into the s
