 26 Arbor Day Festival! This important national holiday recognizes the impo
 rtance of trees and was founded right here in Nebraska in 1872. Each year\
 , the Lauritzen Gardens Arbor Day Festival welcomes hundreds of students f
 rom across the metro to learn about this important commemoration through h
 ands-on activities and exploration. We hope you’ll consider joining us! Pl
 ease submit your exhibitor registration no later than March 31. \n\nAs an 
 exhibitor\, we ask that you:\nProvide at least two staff members or volunt
 eers for your organization who can arrive between 8:00-8:45 to set-up for 
 the event and can stay for the entire duration of the event. (You’re welco
 me to split the event into multiple shifts as needed.)\nCome prepared with
  your own plant\, animal and/or environment-related conservation/preservat
 ion mini-lesson that will take approximately 15 minutes.\nHave an interact
 ive display\, presentation or activity that works well with groups of 15-3
 0 children (handouts are not required\, but are encouraged)\n\nAdditional 
 notes:\n·            Please note this is an outdoor event\, weather permit
 ting.\n·            We expect to host over 2\,000 students at this year’s 
 event. Please note we stagger the school groups throughout the day to cont
 rol the number of students within the garden at any given time.\n·        
     Lunch is provided to exhibitors. Your registration will include a chan
