Crane Trust Nature And Visitor Center 9325 S Alda Rd, Wood River, NE 68883

All Master Naturalists and Friends are welcome to attend!

Save the date for February 16th 2-4pm at The Crane Trust Nature and Visitor Center. We will have Baxter Seguin The North American Bat Monitoring Program Coordinator for Nebraska and Wyoming speaking to us about the monitoring program and Bat ecology in Nebraska.

The presentation will start at 3:00pm, I would like to have a short planning and group meeting between 2:00pm-2:45pm where we can connect on activities and future programming.

We will also be co-hosting this event with Conservation Nebraska which is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works to increase public education and engagement on conservation issues. Their Common Ground program is an AmeriCorps program focused on building a statewide infrastructure of Nebraskans who care deeply about conservation and who are knowledgeable about how to manage Nebraska’s natural resources. They have americorps members in Grand Island, & Kearney, that we are working with to co-host events like these.

If you have any questions let me know, and please rsvp by Friday the 14th.
