CE:Omaha Chapter Gathering - Water Quality Challenges in Nebraska

September: Guest presenter Dr. Shannon Bartelt-Hunt Chair of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at UNL will present “Water Quality Challenges in Nebraska" and then we will do some hands-on work with various water quality measurements for which she has developed citizen science protocols. Her presentation and activities will count as Continuing Education.

Where: Heron Haven (11809 Old Maple Rd, Omaha, NE 68164)
Details: We hope to have her presentation inside the building, but will adjust as Covid19 precautions dictate. Masks will probably be required for inside participation. The water quality measurements will be done outside. Bring your own drinking water and be ready for sun, insects, etc.
