CE: The Science of…Eggs

Thursday, September 23, 2021
3:00 pm4:00 pm
Virtual Event

Snakes do it, birds do it, insects do it, fish do it…I’m talking about laying eggs of course. Many animals will lay eggs because that is how they will pass on babies for the next generation. Not all animals will lay their eggs in nests like birds, some fish will lay them on vegetation in the water, some insects will lay them on the underside of a leaf. No matter what the species the egg provides nutrients and shelter for the developing animals. However, some eggs are hard, some have spots, some are soft and leathery. Come join us to learn the ins and outs of eggs and what animals lay eggs and don’t lay eggs.
