VO: Annual Prairie Seed Harvest

Join Audubon's Rowe Sanctuary for a relaxing morning as we harvest seeds from prairie plants followed by a free Lunch! Throughout the morning you will learn how to identify native prairie plants and find out how seed collection helps to restore and enhance wildlife habitat at Rowe Sanctuary.

No special skills are required and all ages are welcome to attend. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Tools and safety equipment will be provided for all participants, but participants are welcome to bring their own. Consider bringing water, a snack, long pants, and comfortable closed-toed shoes. Restrooms are located on site.

Following seed collection, participants will receive a free lunch and native plant plugs to plant at home.
