SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

8:00 Introduction to the day and bird banding with Alie Mayes – Watchable Wildlife Biologist with Nebraska Game and Parks (meet at the Visitor Center)

10:00 Birds and habitat tour led by Rob Gray – Biologist with Pheasants Forever

11:30 Eagle program with Peter Rea – Supervisory Park Ranger with DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge

Ongoing from 10-12:30 Birding stations – build your own birdhouse (limited quantity) and make your own “suet cone”

Migration game outside Visitor Center (ongoing)
