Annual Reunion, August 14-17, 2025
Niobrara Valley Preserve
You can expect two scheduled field experiences, a bison tour led by NVP staff, and a guided kayak float on the Niobrara River, led by Jamie Bachmann, NMNP and Grace Gaard, NGPC. We will also have a guest speaker, early bird hikes, self-led activities like hiking, biking and fishing, and organized volunteer opportunities.
All activities are optional. This is an opportunity to explore a beautiful place with your Master Naturalist community!

Location: The Niobrara Valley Preserve is a Nature Conservancy property. You could consider it remote, being 26 miles of mostly soft gravel road, from the nearest gas, grocery, or hospital. Facilities: Facilities include two bunk houses with ten beds each, with options for tent camping and one RV hook-up, (First reserved, first serve.). Showers are available. We will have access to the meeting space and a fully equipped kitchen with access to a refrigerator. We are responsible for cleaning up after ourselves.
Cost: There is no fee for participating in the Reunion.
A suggested minimum $15 per person per night donation to the Nature Conservancy for use of their facilities.
Nebraska Master Naturalist Foundation will be providing some meals,TBA. Other meals will be on your own.
Registration: Registration will close Friday, August 1st, 2025 or when full. Register at the link below.
After you submit your registration, you will be redirected to Sign-up Genius. Here, you can sign-up to contribute to the potluck, meal prep or clean-up, and the final facility clean-up on Sunday. You can also follow the link below to sign-up. Contributing in some way is greatly appreciated from everyone on the Reunion Committee and those who have attended the reunion regularly.
