CE: Nebraska Natural Legacy Conference
Registration is now open for the 9th Annual Natural Legacy Conference in Gering on October 9−10!
Join us in Gering, NE for engaging presentations will focus on natural resource management, biodiversity, wildlife research, citizen science, environmental education, and conservation issues. Attendees will have the option to go on field tours that highlight conservation projects in western Nebraska, including the opportunity to see and learn more about Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep.
Register today for this conference opportunity for conservation professionals, university students, naturalists, and landowners! Your registration fee of $40 includes all of the program events, snacks, and meals. Registration is half-off for Nebraska Master Naturalists, students majoring in wildlife related fields, and landowners. Contact Melissa.Panella@nebraska.gov to inquire about discount eligibility.

For those who may be interested in camping, options include the Wildcat Hills SRA and nearby Buffalo Creek and Cedar Canyon WMAs. A local Nebraska Master Naturalist has offered up primitive camping at the nature preserve on his farm along the North Platte River just east of Scottsbluff or more sheltered camping with some facilities at the farmstead.
