Reptiles of Lancaster County

Join UNL’s Dennis Ferraro to learn how to recognize the amphibians, turtles, and reptiles that call Lancaster county home. Learn which calls belong to which Nebraska frog species and what time of year to hear them. Participants will also gain tips and tricks on how to safely and effectively take images of these species so that experts can easily identify and verify species for the Lincoln City Nature Challenge!

This event is part of the Lincoln City Nature Challenge Speaker Series. This series will take place Tuesdays and Sundays all April long! The goal of the series is to explore the plants and animals around Lincoln, NE and teach participants how to get involved with the 2021 City Nature Challenge.
