Rock Creek Station Natural History Day

On Saturday May 8th, in honor of the Nebraska State Parks Centennial Celebration, the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is holding a Natural History Day at Rock Creek Station State Historical Park. The event begins at 8:30 am and is open to and designed for the public, landowners and conservationists. No registration is required. The event will feature eight sessions (hikes) on natural history, land and game species management, geology and history. Participants need not attend all hikes. When the final hikes end at 12:15 pm there is a question and answer session over lunch. Food and drinks will not be provided and attendees should bring their own brown bag lunch and drinks.
