Virtual Event

Sturgeon are some of the most primitive fish, they appeared in the fossil record nearly 200 million years ago. And, to be honest, they have not changed much over time. In Nebraska we have 3 species of sturgeon and each one has unique adaptations that help it survive in our large rivers. Join us on this Science of episode to talk all about these primitive and ancient fish, their feeding habits, where they live, their breeding and much more!

This event is FREE, but requires pre-registration: Link Below

After registering, you will receive a conformation email with more information for the event. Then, on the day and time of the event, use the link provided in the confirmation email and password to join us.
Unable to attend a live event? Each virtual webinar will be recorded and posted to the Nebraska Game and Parks YouTube Education Channel, here you can watch past recording of the Science of as well!
