Core 24 PLUS Training

April 19th-21st & 26th-28th, 2024

Core 24 PLUS:
This training includes the original content of the Core 24 training. The PLUS consists of an additional six Continuing Education hours and six Volunteer Opportunity hours to kick off your “Master Naturalist In- Training” status . The PLUS portion of this training is also available as hours to current certified Nebraska Master Naturalists. Here, the Core 24 PLUS provides the opportunity for community building, networking and a deeper connection to current and incoming Nebraska Master Naturalists.

The Core 24 PLUS content area can include: Flora of Nebraska, Fauna of Nebraska, Natural Resource Interpretation, Human Dimensions, Conservation Biology & Ecology, and Wetland Ecology, Geology and Community Science.

The Nebraska Master Naturalist Program is an adult conservation and environmental education program that combines indoor presentations and hands-on field experiences to teach conservation volunteers about Nebraska's natural resources.
Certified Master Naturalists and Naturalists-in-training are recognized across the state as dedicated natural resource conservation volunteers who provide volunteer service through a variety of skill sets.
