Raptor Conservation Alliance Volunteer Training
Raptor Conservation Alliance Volunteer Training
Saturday, April 18th
9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m
Peter Kiewit Lodge at Mahoney State Park
If you've ever thought about helping wildlife as part of your Naturalist experience, join us to learn about raptors and how to help them!
The Raptor Conservation Alliance is celebrating 50 years of serving the birds of prey in the Midwest and we have a day of events to celebrate.
On Saturday, April 18th we will be meeting at the Peter Kiewit Lodge at Mahoney State Park to talk about what is required to help an injured or orphaned raptor. No previous experience is needed but a willingness to learn is helpful. Be ready to learn about what we can all do to better serve animals in need and how to be a part of our transport team.
We are meeting from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the volunteer training. If you are able to stay longer, please join us for our Open House celebration that will begin at 1:00 p.m., also at the Lodge. At that event we will have some of our raptor ambassadors as well as our founder Betsy Finch.
No registration is needed for the open house.
