North American Monarch Institute Workshop

INSTRUCTORS: A team of educators from the Monarch Joint Venture and Crane Trust

This 2-day intensive workshop is taught by monarch conservation experts and educators with a standards and inquiry-based approach to science. Teams of teachers will come together to study monarchs and build lasting collaboration and networking across the monarch's western range. Participants will take part in some pre-workshop, self-paced virtual learning, followed by field-based work and lessons, lectures, and hands-on investigations.

Participants will:
learn monarch biology and ecology and how to participate in conservation efforts
become part of a network of educators and students across North America
receive materials and curriculum for your classroom
