Thursday, March 3, 2022
3:00 pm4:00 pm

Often confused with lizards, these aquatic amphibians, couldn’t be more different from their often confused reptile counterparts. Salamanders are some of the most secretive animals on the planet, and to be honest, most people never even see them. Their long bodies and short limbs support their lifestyle in damp conditions which helps them breathe- yes, they often times can breathe through their skin! When is the best time to find salamanders? Are salamanders and newts the same thing? What species of salamanders, if any, are found in Nebraska? Join this episode and find out!
